Free Holiday Postcard Templates
I’m running a little late this year, but below are free holiday postcard templates for the 2009 / 2010 holiday season. Blue seems to be the theme…didn’t mean to, but I liked both of these designs a lot.
Just right click on the postcard image, choose Save As and save it to your desktop (so you’ll be able to find it).
These templates are in .tif format with CMYK color, 300 dpi, and sized at 4.25” x 6.25” for a net 4” x 6” full bleed 4 color postcard. Be sure to ask for a glossy front and matte back.
My favorite place to have postcards printed is Overnight Prints. Once I got one back with funky colors because I sent it in as RGB instead of CMYK (which was my own fault) and they were nice enough to reprint the entire order free!
To make the back, Overnight Prints has design guides you can download in various formats. If you don’t know how to do it, or don’t want to, email me with the info you want on the back of the card and for a $5 fee (via PayPal) I’ll do it for you.
